What is IN VITRO FERTILIZATION?
IVF, or In Vitro Fertilization is the most common ART technique. It is the process of fertilizing eggs outside the body before returning the resulting embryo’s to the uterus for further growth and development. It involves stimulating and retrieving multiple eggs from a woman, fertilizing them with his husband’s sperm in a dish in our lab and implanting the embryos in the uterus three or five days after fertilization.
If I am from Dagupan and I decide to have IVF in your center, how long do I have to stay in Angeles City?
We have partner Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialists (REI) who are board certified and based in the Northern Luzon area who can handle your stimulation and monitoring so you don’t have to come to the center every time. You just need to come twice, once for the egg retrieval and another for the embryo transfer. These will be performed also by your REI as well. You will need to check in to a nearby hotel after each procedure though and head back home the next day.
If I am an OFW, and I decide to have IVF in your Center, how long do I have to stay in Angeles City?
The Clark International Airport is just a short 20 minute drive from our center. Here, you will not run out of choices in terms of accommodations that will fit your budget. You may have to stay longer though, as we need to see you before we start stimulation to assess your case thoroughly. It’s about 2-4 weeks depending on whether you will proceed with embryo transfer or not. You can enjoy the famous and scrumptious Kapampangan food while you’re at it!
